Future Program of FNBS

FNBS a supportive partner for the blinds ... has made a pilot project plan for the first five years.

For the first year, support will be provided to visually impaired students from 2 government schools from the Gandaki Region. Amarsingh Model Higher Secondary School, Kaski has 49 visually impaired students studying currently and Amar Jyoti Higher Secondary School, Gorkha has 8 students. Other 30 children who have not been able to join school due to lack of funding or due to ignorance shall be identified and admitted to nearby schools.

As a part of enhancement of the program, FNBS is soon going to start health checkup campaign for the students under its program, especially the eye checkup.

The organization will continue to support visually impaired students in future years too with even more integrated program for the all-round development of the blind students.
