Schools currently supported by FNBS

FNBS is currently tied up with two schools from Gandaki Zone, Western Development Region, Nepal. One each from Kaski and Gorkha district. Amarsingh Model HS school is chosen from Kaski district and Amarjyoti Janata HS School Luitel is chosen from Gorkha district.

Amarsingh is a reputed school with a large no of students. It has three different section running concurrently- Nepali medium, English medium and Blind section. Our concern is with the blind section of the school. Currently about 49 blind students are studying there at Amarsingh school. The government has limited quota and it supports accordingly. Here FNBS would like to fill up the vacuum and help more no of blind students get quality education.

Amarjyoti is another popular school in Gorkha. This school also has provision to support the blind students. A total of … students are studying there at present. There are more blind children in the remote parts of Gorkha, FNBS would like to extend its support to more blind and ensure their rights to education.

In fact, service to disabled children is one of the greatest human services. It is a highest symbol of humanity. So, FNBS has initiated this work for supporting the bind students. Any one- individual, firm and charitable organization are warmly welcome to the mission of FNBS. Let’s together support the blind students and make some difference in their lives as it is rightly said, ‘small act big impact … ‘.

Profile of current students supported by FNBS

FNBS has two schools in target for the initial year- Shree Amarsingh Model HS School, Pokhara Kaski and Shree Amarjyoti Janata HS School, Gorkha. Amarsingh school has 49 students and Amarjyoti school has 8 blind students.

Beside the students currently enrolled at these schools, there are many other blind children in the remote villages, who are out of reach to education. FNBS aims to identify those students and manage education facilities to them at suitable schools, with economic supports in need basis.
